Unmix (“we”, “us”) provides an online vocal remover and audio tools. We aim to process only what we need to run the product and improve reliability.
Information we process
- Audio files you upload for separation or effects, plus derived stems and job metadata (filename, status, model, timestamps).
- Account details if you register (email, password hash or Google subject id, plan/billing status).
- Technical logs such as IP address, user agent, and approximate usage for freemium limits and abuse prevention.
- Payment-related identifiers handled by our payment provider (e.g. Razorpay) when you subscribe — we do not store full card numbers.
How we use audio
Uploaded audio is used to run separation or effects on our servers. Identical separation requests may reuse cached stems so we do not re-run expensive models. Temporary uploads and job outputs are deleted on a retention schedule (typically within about 24 hours for job files; cached stems may be kept longer for performance, then expire).
We do not sell your songs or train public models on your private uploads as a product feature. Do not upload content you are not allowed to process.
Accounts, billing, and cookies
Auth tokens are stored in your browser so you stay signed in. Theme preference may be stored locally. We use essential cookies/local storage for auth and product function — not third-party ad trackers by default.
Sharing
We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email if configured, and payment processors) as needed to operate Unmix. They process data under their own terms as subprocessors of the service.
Your choices
